Happiness
What are the things in life that make you happy? I’m in the process of reading a new book called “The Happiness Project.” So far, it’s pretty interesting. The other day, we talked about what brings job satisfaction and the response was really good. I loved seeing so many comments as it means we are having some dialogue here. That’s one of the things we want on this site!

I think “satisfaction” and “happiness” are two different things. We all know people who appear to be happy all the time. And yet, people are human and it can’t be that someone has no problems and no worries and is always happy! So how do they do it? For me, the days when I feel satisfied are quite different from the days when I’m truly happy. I happen to like the latter a little more!

The book gives some tools for creating a happiness project and even doing it as a group. What is a happiness project? It’s just a way to identify some things you want to change in your life, set some resolutions for making it happen, holding yourself accountable to DOING something about it, and making adjustments as it’s appropriate.

I’m thinking about starting a section on my personal or on the leadership blog for a happiness project. I won’t do it here because I know it’s not something that will interest everyone. It would be great if you would choose to join me on that journey as I’d love to have others to talk to about it.

What do you think? Will you join that conversation? If so, would you prefer to see it on my personal blog or on the leadership site? Let me hear from you and we’ll make it happen!
